Three suspects have been charged in connection with the death of 65-year-old Scott Engelhardt of Birch Run Township on October 15. Engelhardt, who used a wheelchair, was found dead in his burned home in the 11000 block of South Block Road. His 1998 Cadillac was missing.
Nineteen-year-old Faith Lord of Clio has been charged with Home Invasion First-Degree, and Homicide-Felony Murder and Weapons Felony Firearm.
Twenty-four-year-old Kyle Bostic of Clio and twenty-year-old Nolan Croton of Flushing are both charged with Home Invasion First-Degree and Accessory After the Fact To a Felony.
The Saginaw County Sheriff’s department is investigating, and said there may be more arrests. Investigators determined the house was intentionally set on fire and have recovered the missing Cadillac.
Although Engelhardt’s death was ruled a homicide, his cause of death has not been released.
