Police in Genesee County are investigating a potential threat made by a student.
Sheriff Chris Swanson says they became aware of a threatening letter on Wednesday written by the student, which makes references to killing and seeking revenge. The student and the school they attend have not been identified. Swanson says his department takes threats of this nature very seriously and encourages anyone who knows about someone making threats of harm against themselves or others to please come forward and report it.
