Teen Suspect Shot By State Police in Flint Identified

State police troopers from the Flint post are under investigation after an officer involved shooting on Friday killed a 17-year-old suspect.
Police say the troopers were patrolling an area of Essex Street and Pasadena Avenue around 6:30 P.M. when they confronted Rayvon Shahid, who was allegedly armed. Police say Shahid ran, but was shot and killed. A loaded firearm was recovered at the scene.
The troopers involved have been placed on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation. No other details have been released at this time.
