Teen Charged In Beecher Shooutout

An 18-year-old suspect in a shootout in Beecher on June 25 was arrainged this week.
Police in the Genesee County community responded to a home on Hilton Lane after an SUV parked in front, with three teens getting out and assaulting someone in the yard. Gunfire erupted between an occupant of the SUV and someone else nearby. 17-year-old Khamani Lindsey was killed while another 17-year-old was critically injured.
Police arrested an 18-year-old at the scene. Cordell Allen was charged with attempted murder and felony weapons offenses.
