SVSU Hires Grand Rapids Native as New Provost

A new provost will serve Saginaw Valley State University.
The school has hired Lisa Boehm, who will also serve as Vice President for Academic Affairs. Boehm most recently held the position of Dean of the College of Graduate Studies at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, where she has served since 2017. Prior to Bridgewater State, Boehm served as the founding dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Manhattanville College in New York state.
Boehm holds a PhD from Indiana University, a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern. Boehm is also the author of seven books.
