SUV Discovered In Genesee County Lake

No victims were discovered in an SUV pulled from a Gensee County lake Sunday morning.

Police responded to the Flint Park Lake in Mount Morris Township around 9:25 after receiving a 9-1-1 call from a local fisherman about the submerged vehicle, identified as a Cadillac Escalade. Crews with the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department Underwater Search and Recovery Team were able to get the vehicle attached to a tow truck around 11:00 A.M., which was pulled out of the water.

Police say it’s the third vehicle to be pulled from that lake this year. The investigation is being handled by the Mount Porris Township Police Department. The vehicle has been impounded.
