Suspiscious Fire Destroys Shiawassee County Home

State police are investigating a Saturday, October 10 fire in Shiawassee County’s Venice Township.

Area fire departments and police responded to the 1500 block of Riniel Rd. around 8:15 p.m. The two-story, single family home was completely engulfed in flames, destroying the structure and a semi-tractor next to it. There was no one home at the time of the fire, which is currently under investigation and is considered suspicious.
