Suspect in Burton Murder Arrested

A little more than 12 hours after a man was fatally shot in Burton, police located and arrested the suspect.

The shooting occurred Tuesday, April 26 around 1:00 a.m. at a home in the 1500 block of E. McLean Ave. Police arrived on the scene to find a 26-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound.

The suspect, a 24-year-old man, was arrested on charges of homicide and absconding parole around 1:30 p.m. He’s being held in the Genesee County Jail awaiting arraignment.
