Suspect Arrested in Downtown Saginaw Arson

Saginaw Police have announced a suspect has been arrested in connection with a fire at a vacant downtown building, and possibly other fires in the area.

An investigation by the Saginaw Fire Marshal and Michigan State Police Fire Investigation Unit into a fire at 700 Lapeer on May 29 determined the fire was suspicious and might’ve been related other downtown Saginaw fires.

The investigation is ongoing and no information about the suspect was released.
