Super Speeders Stopped in Saginaw County

A couple of super speeders in Saginaw County will have to pay some hefty fines.

State Police officials report troopers patrolling I-75 yesterday clocked one driver going 96 miles an hour and the second one traveling at 100 miles an hour. The troopers were working a Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning speed enforcement shift at the time of the incidents. The speed limit along the stretch of I-75 in Saginaw County is 70 miles an hour.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and drive with care, especially during the busy Thanksgiving holiday as about 1.5 million Michiganders are expected to take to the roads over the next few days.
