Stray Dogs Maul Two Victims in Flint

Police in Flint are urging residents to stay away from stray dogs after two people were attacked on Saturday.

Police say a 45 year old woman in the one thousand block of East Foss had to have her arm aputated from the elbow down after being attacked. A 55 year old man suffered critical injuries in a second attack in the area of East Rigdeway and North Street later that evening. Police arrived on the scene as he was being attacked and were able to scare away four or five dogs. Police say two stray dogs have been captured.

Anyone who sees strays is asked to call 9-1-1.
