STARS Updates Route Schedules

Saginaw Transit Authority and Regional Services (STARS) will be changing its weekday morning and evening bus route schedules beginning on Monday.

Routes 1 through 9 and Route 11 will run Monday through Friday during Peak Hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. During off-peak hours from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Routes 4 and 2 will be combined, as well as routes 7 and 8, and route 11 will not run. The organization says the changes are meant to make STARS more efficient, saving an estimated $500,000 each year, while making room for further expansion.
