Standoff in Saginaw Ends Without Incident

A man is in custody after a standoff with police in Saginaw Sunday, August 4.

Police say there was a report of shots fired around 9:00 a.m. in the area of State and Mason. A suspect was eventually found at a residence on Moonglow. Police say the suspect refused to come out of the home, barricading himself inside. The standoff ended around 3:30 p.m. when police broke down the door and the suspect surrendered peacefully.

The suspect’s name will be released pending arraignment.
