Spongy Moth Treatment Taking Place In Mt. Forest Township

Spongy Moth Egg Mass (Bay County Forest Sustainability Program)
Aerial treatment is scheduled to take place Thursday in Bay County.
The goal of the treatment is to protect our trees and to limit Spongy Moths populations. Airplanes will be used to treat 3 areas made up of 835 acres of woodlots. Spraying will begin around 6:00 a.m. and will continue up until around mid day.
