Shiawassee County Crash Claims Life of Perry Man

A Perry man died in a crash in Shiawassee County Thursday, March 4.
State police troopers responded to Bath Rd. in Antrim Township around 7:20 p.m. The lone occupant of the vehicle, 51-year-old Curtis Lewis, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say Lewis was heading west near Bancroft R.d when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Troopers were assisted by the Shiawassee Township Fire Department, Perry Rescue and Bancroft Police Department.
