Shabu Shabu

We were talking about eating Shabu Shabu, a hot pot dish at a Japanese Restaurant, “Samurai”, inside the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.  It consists of a broth in a heavy pot on an induction burner, a plate of thinly sliced beef and a plate of vegetables and noodles plus a variety of dipping sauces.  You cook the food in the boiling broth as you eat dinner.  Delicious.
