Sexual Assault Suspect Found Competent to Stand Trial

A Genesee County man accused of sexual assault has been found competent to stand trial.

Eugene Pratt, a former teacher, administrator and coach across several school districts in the county, is accused of first degree criminal sexual conduct from an incident which occurred in 2013. A former student of Beecher Community Schools in Flint came forward with the allegations last year.

Pratt was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and was found competent Thursday. Police say they believe there are more victims of Pratt’s who have yet to come forward.

Pratt’s next court date is March 7.
