Separate Home Invasions In Two Counties May Be Related
A couple of home invasions in Saginaw Township and Midland may be related.
Police in both communities are investigating after the both cases showed similarities in how they were conducted. On December 9, police say two men forced their way into a house in Saginaw Township around 8:20 p.m. while the couple who lived there were in the home. They were tied up with clothing as the suspects searched the home.
On Sunday, December 13 around the same time, three men pushed their way into a home on Sturgeon Rd. near Wackerly in Midland. The couple in their 50s who live there were also tied up as the suspects ransacked the house and left with some money.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call the Saginaw Township or Midland Police Departments.
