Saginaw Standoff Ends with Suspect Arrested

A man wanted on felony warrants suffered minor injuries after a standoff with police in Saginaw Thursday.

State police troopers were sent to a residence in the 700 block of Munson Court around 9:00 A.M. to make an arrest of the suspect, who was wanted for robbery, according to police. However, police say the man barricaded himself inside the home. The Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team was called in. The suspect was eventually arrested at about 12:30. He was treated at a local hospital for a bite from a responding K-9 officer.
