Saginaw Soup Entrepreneurial Pitch Competition Set for November 7th
The Saginaw Soup entrepreneurial pitch competition will take place on Thursday, November 7, at 6 p.m. at the CMURC in the SVRC Marketplace, located at 203 S. Washington Avenue. The event will feature local entrepreneurs presenting their business ideas to a panel of judges and the audience.
Each of the five finalists will compete for cash prizes, with the 1st place winner receiving $3,500. The 2nd place winner will receive $2,000, while 3rd place will earn $1,000. Additional prizes of $750 for 4th place and $500 for 5th place will also be awarded. The audience will have the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice winner, who will receive the total entry fees collected at the door.
Tickets are $5, which includes voting rights and access to free food samples from local restaurants. Saginaw Soup is organized by a coalition of local organizations, including Saginaw Future, the Small Business Development Center, and the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce.
