Saginaw School Board trustees are keeping lines of communication open with the Saginaw Intermediate School District over the future of the Saginaw Career Complex. Board President Rudy Patterson said at stake is who will operate that site, which has been controlled by Saginaw Schools for almost 50 years. Patterson spoke after the board voted Wednesday to send a letter to state education officials notifying them about those talks.

The Intermediate School District  has expressed an interest in obtaining that operating license for the SCC, saying it has backing from other school districts within Saginaw County.
