Saginaw school board trustees expressed concerns to district administrators Wednesday, September 18 about the frequency of student tests now that a new school year has begun.

Board President Ruth Ann Knapp wonders when there is time to teach while so much testing is being mandated by state and federal governments. Knapp adds it’s an issue  impacting not only Saginaw schools but districts across Michigan and the nation.

Knapp says teachers will keep focusing on helping students with test taking, including dealing with testing anxiety.
