Saginaw Public Schools Hire Principal for Saginaw United
A principal has been hired to helm the new Saginaw United High School.
Eric Gordon, who is currently the principal at Saginaw High School, will transition over to the new school once the new school year begins this fall. Gordon has more than 24 years experience in education. According to the Saginaw Public School Disatrict, he began his career as a classroom aide at Heavenrich Elementary School. He went on to become a teacher, Dean of Students and Assistant Principal at Central Middle School. He also served as the Principal of Arthur Eddy Academy where he led transformative efforts to pull the school out of low performing status.
Gordon received his education locally, earning an Associate’s Degree at Delta College and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree at SVSU.
