Saginaw Public Schools enrollment has seen it’s lowest decrease in students since the 2001-2002 school year. The student enrollment of all Saginaw Public Schools decreased by 48 students from the 2017-2018 school year to the 2018-2019 school year. Since 2002, the school district lost an average of 387 students every year. Saginaw Public Schools have lost over six thousand students since 2002. Superintendent Dr. Ramont Roberts says there could be an increase of students in a couple of years.
As of February 2019 there are five thousand four hundred and fifty students.
