Saginaw Police Release Update on Recent Shootings

Saginaw Police and Michigan State Police are investigating a pair of recent shootings, one of them fatal. A 20-year-old man was killed by gunfire that broke out at midnight Sunday, June 26, in the 1300 block of Huntley Rd. The victim died after being taken to a local hospital. Police have not released his name and have no suspect information. They’re asking that tips be reported to Crime Stoppers,  1-800-422-JAIL.

In the second shooting, a 22-year-old woman was shot at Gallagher and S, Jefferson in Saginaw about 4:45 p.m. Monday, and is in critical condition at a local hospital. Police say it appears that shooting was accidental.
