Saginaw Police Investigate Bank Robbery
Police in Saginaw are looking to the public for help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.
The incident occurred Wednesday around 1:45 P.M. when a male suspect entered the Independent Bank at 3601 State Street. Police say the man handed tellers a note demanding money and produced a handgun, pointing it the bank employees. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash before getting into a black Chevy Trax on Fairfield Street and driving west on John Street.
Police say the man is possibly in his 30s or 40s with long hair in either dreads or curls, though police say he may have been wearing a wig. The suspect was wearing a black hooded coat, maroon pants, white sneakers and a medical face mask. Please call the Saginaw Police Department if you have any information about the incident.
