Saginaw Man Arrested After High Speed Chase in Stolen Vehicle

A Saginaw man was arrested Monday, May 2 in a stolen vehicle ring.

Police say five Chevy Camaros were stolen from the General Motors Lansing Grand River Assembly plant around 12:15 a.m. and were spotted traveling at a high rate of speed on I-96. The suspects led police on a chase through Ingham, Livingston and Oakland counties before they were captured and arrested. Nine people between the ages of 20 and 24 were caught, including the Saginaw man. The rest were from Detroit.

The suspects were arrested on charges of fleeing or eluding police, receiving or concealing a stolen vehicle, resisting or obstructing police and conspiracy to commit a criminal act. No officers or suspects were injured.
