The new Saginaw County Veteran Service Office was officially opened Thursday.
The new Office will provide a variety of resources to veterans in the area, including legal guidance, emergency funds and education resources. After the ceremony, State Rep. Amos O’Neal says it’s been one of his goals to get Saginaw veterans the support they deserve, and he’s grateful to see that work pay off. He says those who’ve dedicated their time and skills to defend this country’s freedoms should have access to the help they need in their own community.
The Saginaw County Veteran Service Office is located at the Saginaw YMCA at 1915 Fordney St. A Veterans Service Officer will be available weekdays from Noon to 4:00 in the afternoon.
