Saginaw Bay Waterfowl Festival Is This Weekend

Recreational displays and opportunities for families to bond and enjoy nature’s wonders are all part of the 21st annual Saginaw Bay Waterfowl Festival.

Hours are 10 to Six Saturday and Nine to Four Sunday at the Bay City State Recreation Area in Bay County’s Bangor Township.

Park Interpreter Valerie Blaschka says this is the park’s biggest event of the year and a perfect opportunity to show off the refurbished beach plus the Splash Park and Playscape for children along with great scenic trails.

Activities include a wildlife arts and craft show plus educational programs for youth.

There’s also duck and goose calling competitions plus the duck stamp contest. To learn more, go on line to
