Riding Lawnmower-SUV Crash Kills Harrison Man

A man from Harrison was killed Thursday night when he was hit by an SUV while using a riding lawnmower in Clare County. The sheriff’s office said it happened about 8:30 on Clare Ave. near Stockwell in Hayes Township.
The victim was identified as 51-year-old Michael Storms. Deputies said a 46-year-old man from Harrison was driving south on Clare Avenue in a 2010 Chevy Tahoe when the victim was hit. The Clare County sheriff’s office is investigating.
