Public Invited to Comment on Saginaw Township Police Accreditation
A team of assessors from the Michigan Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (MLEAC) will be visitng the Saginaw Township Police Department May 2 and 3 to examine all aspects of the Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services.
The department must comply with 108 standards in order to achieve accredited status. The public is invited to provide comments to MLEAC Assessment Team about the department’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation. Comments can be made by calling 989-791-7234 on May 3, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Email comments can be sent to [email protected].
Telephone comments are limited to five minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with the Commission’s standards. A copy of the standards is available for inspection at the Saginaw Township Police Department at 4930 Shattuck Road.
