Portions of Southern Saginaw County Under Burn Ban

A burn ban has gone into effect in southern Saginaw County due to extremely dry conditions.

The Tri-Township Fire Department has issued the ban affecting the communities of Brant, St. Charles Township, Swan Creek and all portions of Freemont Township south of Nelson Rd.

All burn permits previously issued have been revoked.
