Police ID Bay County Crash Victims

A Linwood man and a Bay City woman who died in a Sunday, August 25 crash have been identified.

Police say the driver of a Chevy Blazer 43-year-old Richard Ruttan and his passenger, 58-year-old Lois Bickham, were killed when Ruttan attempted to make a left turn onto Anderson Rd. from south bound M-13 in Bay County and pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The occupants of the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries.

While final toxicology reports are pending, police don’t believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
