Police have arrested a Flint man who they say intended to shoot at his wife for a second time.

According to Michigan State Police, the 22-year-old man was suspected of shooting at his wife with an AR-15 style rifle and a handgun in Oakland County on Monday. Troopers with the Secure Cities Partnership stopped and arrested the man, reportedly recovering the rifle, handgun, and multiple magazines along with ammunition and other evidence from the incident on Monday.

Investigators say that evidence suggested that the man was planning to return to Oakland County to shoot at his wife again.

He faces multiple felony charges in both Genesee and Oakland Counties, including Assault with Intent to Murder and several weapon offenses.
