Pedestrian Killed on US-10

A 25-year-old female was killed on U.S. 10 at M-47 Monday morning.

Bay County Sheriff Officers are investigating after the woman was struck by an F-550 work truck just after 6 a.m. The woman was walking in the eastbound travel lanes of the freeway and was wearing black clothing when she was struck by the pick-up truck. The freeway was closed to traffic for over two hours.

The woman’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
