Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Bad Axe

A woman in Bad Axe was killed Monday, January 18 after being struck by a vehicle.
Police say 70-year-old Elaine Stocker was crossing Huron Ave. near the Bad Axe Theater around 6:00 p.m. when she was struck. The vehicle was driven by a 60-year-old woman heading east. Police say she did not see Stockton crossing the street.
Alcohol or speed don’t appear to be factors in the crash, which is under investigation.
