One Injured in Bay City Shooting

A 37-year-old man was injured after being shot behind a Bay City bar on Saturday.

According to the Bay City Department of Public Safety, officers responded to the parking lot behind Duso’s Bar on Midland Street around 1:47 a.m. and discovered the victim, who had been shot in the abdomen. The man was taken to a local hospital and underwent surgery. Police say the suspect, a 38-year-old man, had fled the area and was later located and arrested by Saginaw Police Officers. The man was returned to Bay City for questioning.
