One Dead, One Injured in Flint Shootings

Police in Flint are investigating a homocide that took place early Saturday morning.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:20 a.m. at the Midway Square Townhomes. Investigators say that they believe a 34-year-old woman from Flint was shot inside a vehicle outside of an apartment. She was taken to the hospital, but died of her injuries. Shortly after, at 5:40 a.m. police say that they responded to a crash involving the vehicle associated with the shooting, where they found a 33-year-old Flint man with multiple gunshot wounds slumped over the steering wheel. The man was transported to Hurley Medical Center, and is listed in critical condition.
