Northwood Wins Charity Competition with SVSU Benefitting Veterans

A friendly rivalry between Saginaw Valley State University and Northwood University took place last month with Northwood coming out on top.
The two schools collected personal hygiene items for veterans. Each item collected granted the respective school 1 point, and items were collected through Nov. 30. At the end of the campaign, Northwood donated 1,300 items, which was 200 more than SVSU.
The items will be placed into kits and distributed to veterans in need through the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center.
