No One Hurt in Vacant Ag Elevator Fire in Saginaw

Fire crews from Saginaw and Buena Vista Township responded to a structure fire along some railroad tracks early Sunday morning.

The fire occurred at a vacant agriculture elevator in the area of South Niagara and Perry Streets around 3:00. Crews on the scene were unable to save the structure, as it completely collapsed around 4:00 A.M., with some of the debris scattering onto the tracks.

The area was cleared around 11:00 A.M. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
