No Injuries Reported in Mt. Pleasant Thanksgiving House Fire

Fire officials in Mt. Pleasant are investigating a house fire that occurred on Thanksgiving.

Crews were sent to the five thousand block of Kay Street around 8:00 P.M. where heavy smoke could be seen coming from the home. Officials say there was moderate smoke and fire damage to the structure, though no one was injured in the blaze. The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department, the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Fire Department and Mobile Medical Response were at the scene for mutual aid.
