No Injuries In Bridgeport Industrial Fire

Several area fire departments were called to an industrial facility in Bridgeport Township Tuesday night for a fire.
The incident occurred at a building in the 6800 block of Dixie Highway. Initially, the Bridgeport Fire Department responded, though concerns from the fire’s proximity to chemicals at the facility prompted a call for mutual aid. The fire was discovered at one machine, though heavy smoke spread throughout a larger area in the building.
All employees were safely evacuated. No injuries were reported.
