Newaygo Man Arraigned In Sanford Area Shooting

State Police are investigating the shooting that left a Sanford area woman hospitalized last week, with a suspect in custody.
57-year-old William Callaway of Newaygo is accused of shooting the woman last Thursday on West Olsen Road near 11 Mile Road in Lee Township. She was taken to a West Michigan hospital with serious injuries. Calloway is charged with discharging at a building causing injury, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and a misdemeanor charge of careless discharge of firearm causing injury or death.
He’s being held on a $600,000r bond.
