The Hell’s Half Mile Film and Music Festival kicked off a three day fundraiser Thursday, August 8 at the new Drydock Beer Garden in Bay City’s privately owned Unity Park downtown on Center Ave.

Festival Director Alan LaFave, co-manager of Drydock, says the structure is a 20 x 8 foot shipping container converted into an open air bar.  A partnership with the State Theatre will help other non-profits raise money.

LaFave added Drydock is fully booked through October and the holidays. 2020 dates are available. It’s open from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.  To learn more, their Facebook page.
