Triple Murder Suspect Pleads No Contest in One Case

A man arrested after assaulting his girlfriend and fatally stabbing her 13-year-old daughter near Mount Pleasant in June has pleaded no contest. Fourty-one-year-old Isaiah “Zeke” Gardenhire is charged with three murders in two counties. On Monday, he pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and related crimes in Isabella County.

Gardenhire was arrested after driving to Flint in a stolen car and surrendering to police. He’s also charged with killing a couple in Ingham County in April.
