Murder Investigation Underway in Midland County

A woman was killed in Midland County yesterday and police are looking for help locating a suspect.
Midland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Bradford Rd. in Mt. Haley Township. A man at the home reported a woman unconscious and not breathing. When emergency responders arrived, they found the woman had been killed by a gunshot wound, which police determined came from outside the house. They placed the time of the incident at around 4:30 a.m.
Deputies were assisted the state police crime lab, MidMichigan EMS, Midland Township Fire and Rescue and others.
