Mt. Pleasant Police Seek Strong Arm Robbery Suspect

Mt. Pleasant Police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in a strong arm robbery. The man came into the Wild Side Smoke Shop at 1218 South Mission just after 6:30 p.m. on October 31. Police said the store employee recognized the man from previous incidents of stealing from the store, and saw that he was putting items in his pockets. When the employee approached, the suspect began fighting with him. Police say there was a woman in the parking lot waiting for the suspect, who also took part in the assault on the employee.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late twenties or early thirties, about 6′ tall, with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans tucked into cowboy boots and a bright blue Nike hooded sweatshirt. He was also wearing glasses.
