Motorcyclist Killed In Gratiot County Crash

A man on a motorcycle was killed in a crash in Gratiot County’s Pine River Township Monday morning.
Police say 30-year-old Duncan Clark of Wheeler was riding his motorcycle west on Monroe Road around 6:40 a.m. and stopped at the intersection of Alger Road. A pickup truck heading east was making a turn onto northbound Alger with the right of way. Police say Clark drove his motorcycle through the intersection with a red light and struck the pickup truck head on. He was taken to My Michigan Health in Alma where he died from his injuries, according to police.
The condition of the pickup driver is unknown. Police continue to investigate the crash.
