Missing Girl’s Body Found in Flint River by Recovery Teams

On Saturday, search teams in Genesee County located the body of a girl reported missing on April 28.
Six-year-old Tahj Evans was reported missing after falling into the Flint River, a day after a seven-year-old boy drowned in the river. Search teams from Genesee and Lapeer counties and the Michigan State Police all participated in recovery efforts for the girl. Her body was located near Ballenger Bridge behind McLaren Flint Hospital.
Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson says more details will be made available at a later time.
