Miss Michigan Winner Honored By Bay County Officials

Bay County officials honored County native Mallory Rivard Tuesday. She recently became Miss Michigan 2019 after winning  the Miss Great Lakes Bay competition.

Rivard says she’s been busy traveling the state advocating for early childhood reading.  That’s not surprising given that she teaches first grade at Bay  City’s Macgregor Elementary School.

Rivard will compete in the Miss America Pageant December 19th at the Mohegan Sun Casino in
Connecticut. The event will be televised live on NBC.
